HoChun Ho, Chair

Global Head, Enterprise Data Governance and Enablement​, Jones Lang LaSalle
At JLL, Ho is responsible for guiding and overseeing global data governance and management for the Corporate Solutions business line. The scope includes the business oversight on master data management, data quality, meta-data management and the overall data roadmap. These are the critical components of the JLL RED Platform. He built a team that defined and established the Data Governance function, its organizational structures, global and regional resources, processes and operating procedures, tools, and communication protocols. Prior to joining JLL, he was a Distinguished Architect at a major telecomm- cable TV- media company where he was responsible for the business and technology strategy for enterprise data. He led teams to incubate a big data shared services platform to accommodate multiple tenants and workloads with end-to-end operations and development; this platform enabled machine learning, predictive analytics and big data visualization.
 

Bill Bernabei

Senior Managing Director Business Analytics Group, CBRE Global Workplace Solutions

Bill has led business intelligence and strategic consulting within the commercial real estate industry for over 15 years. Currently, he serves as Senior Managing Director within CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) business, which provides integrated facilities and real estate services to large corporate occupiers on a global and regional basis. In this role, Bill has global oversight of the Business Analytics team that delivers operational and business intelligence solutions to occupier clients. The team also supports embedded account strategists; provides variable consulting services; and helps promote and drive a data-driven culture among clients to inform better decision making through insights derived from data across the organization. Bill also serves as an advisor and strategist on strategic company initiatives, such as the overall Digital & Technology strategy and broader Business Analytics vision.

Rick Ferrino

Chief Data Officer, VTS

Rick has worked on collection, back-end, data products and data feeds since starting his career including hundreds of examples of integrating data from 3rd party systems or data feeds into or out of the 3 organizations he has been a part of.  He has also designed many APIs and database models. At VTS, Ferrino built the in-house Integrations and data teams from a team of 2 to a team of 35, responsible for all data pushed and pulled from VTS across ERP, accounting, budgeting, custom reporting & data vendor systems.  His support of OSCRE can be summed up with “ Any organization that helps ensure that the transfer of data between systems is increasingly simple and more universal is an organization I want to help contribute to.”                 

Kim Maddox

Vice President of Commercial Property Management, RealPage

As the Vice President of Commercial Property Management at RealPage, Kim Maddox works with clients to ensure that they can run their business more smoothly with the help of RealPage solutions.  Kim’s 30 year history of working directly with global companies to understand their real estate needs.  This has helped her develop a strong track record of delivering solutions and dedication to client satisfaction. Prior to joining RealPage, she had worked for JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, Oracle, MRI and Yardi Systems in product management roles.  Kim is a member of the Denver Alpha Xi Delta Alumni Association and has chaired their fundraising auction for Autism Speaks.

Dennis Main, Vice-Chair

Consultant, USAA

Dennis is a consultant with USAA, a Fortune 500 diversified financial services group of companies. Dennis previously served as Senior Vice President for IT with Equity Commonwealth, an office REIT.  Dennis has experience with IT strategy and operations including creating and managing the IT budget, keeping the in-house data center up and running, SOX compliance, project management, help desk, developing and executing business intelligence strategy, hiring resources and partnering with vendors, contract negotiations, implementing collaboration tools, cybersecurity, and improving efficiencies throughout the organization.  His experience at EQC also included the overhaul of a major accounting system, creation and delivery of extensive business intelligence platform, performed many cybersecurity upgrades, and a full Office 365 rollout.

Hans Pedersen

Senior Director of Professional Services, Yardi Systems 

Hans Pedersen has more than 35 years of leadership experience in real estate technology, working with commercial property managers and investors alike. He has served in product management, business development and implementation leadership roles. Hans is currently a Senior Director of Professional Services for Yardi Systems, where he provides oversight and strategic direction for major software implementations. 

Hans previously led the effort to design and develop Yardi’s Commercial Management system, which now forms the core of Yardi’s Commercial Applications Suite. He was also closely involved in developing Yardi’s international functionality, while leading the launch of the company’s European operations in Amsterdam and London. Hans holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo.

As a technology vendor, Yardi Systems provide accounting, operational management, energy and marketing solutions for residential, commercial and investment management markets, on a global basis. Yardi’s more recent moves into energy management and market intelligence make the company increasingly invested in standards across the real estate sector.

Beth Schwartz

Vice President of Product Management, MRI Software

As a 20-year veteran of Project and Product Management in the software industry, Beth has had the opportunity to be a part of some of the most significant process changes that have helped software development evolve. During this time, she has led the development of Project Management standards with division peers while working at Intuit and have created Product Management organizations at 3 different companies. This experience has positioned her as a “get it done” leader who is consistently given strategic projects and products to lead.

During her tenure, she has been fortunate to focus on just two markets, Real Estate and Healthcare, who’s technology needs heavily overlap. As the Vice President of Product Management at MRI Software, Beth is focused on building a global Product Management organization as the organization continues to expand.

Naseem Wenzel

Partner, CohnReznick

Naseem has more than 15 years of experience as a technology leader and domain expert in the real estate industry. She has worked with many of the leading real estate owners and operators, as well as investors.  Naseem has provided strategic direction to these clients in numerous capacities, including, data warehousing/aggregation consulting; software selection through analysis of needs and requirements; business process optimization across multiple functions;  general ledger and reporting solutions; design of data integration tools and solutions; information optimization through data normalizations that supported a global data structure through implementation of data governance model; training and talent development focusing on change management for existing and enhanced business processes supported by technology solutions; integration between acquired and acquiring organizations to support compliance and business function transition; and design and implementation of a shared services organization.
