Standards Update – December 2011
Welcome to the roundup of OSCRE Standards activities, managed by the OSCRE Membership. Members can register to participate by visiting the Workgroups page on the website, or can propose new activities by contacting the Technical Team.

Lease Administration
Cut cost & risk with electronic capture of lease data to bring properties and portfolios online at speed and with accuracy.

In the UK, following implementation testing, a Member Review for Version 3.0 of the Lease Summary is open until 31st December.

A harmonization review is planned with the North American Lease Abstract with a meeting scheduled for 8th February. The Workgroup wants to hear from you if you currently use the Lease Abstract in North America.

Portfolio Information Exchange
Electronic exchange of core property portiolio data from one property management system to another.

Changes to the Lease Component impact on users of the Portfolio Information Exchange Standards and update Workgroups will be scheduled.

Investment Performance Reporting
Enables the automated provision of inputs required to measure performance of investments in commercial real estate.

Comments received during the first Member Review have been discussed by the Workgroup and the specification is in the process of being amended. The Workgroup is targeting the second Member Review being available during January 2012. Interested in testing? Contact OSCRE using the email here.

Occupancy Cost
Consolidation of Portfolio Information for effective benchmarking of Occupancy Costs.
