Coming into the global property management market from the outside, it is striking how diverse it is and how many different voices speak for it. It is also surprising how basic standards for electronic interchange have not yet been adopted in what is the world's largest asset industry.
All the more so, given how the rapid evolution of online business and services via the Internet is intensifying its impact on all aspects of the Real Estate business. This is especially true as the USA and Europe recover from the 2008/9 property meltdown, and with the new, emerging markets.
