OSCRE Announces 2015 Board of Directors

Board includes a new chairperson, eight incumbents and five newly elected members
London, UK, February 20, 2015OSCRE International, a corporate member–based organization focused on the development and implementation of global standards for real estate information exchange, today announced this year's Board of Directors, which includes a new chairperson, eight incumbents and five newly elected members. After serving as a member on the OSCRE board in 2014, Cheryl Jefferies, Vice President and Practice Specialist in HOK’s On–Site Services group, will assume the role of chairperson this year. Ms. Jefferies brings more than 25 years of data management experience to this leadership role. At HOK, she is responsible for delivering Space Management services, with a particular emphasis on Technology Assessments, Strategy and Data Management.

Cheryl and her team work with HOK’s clients to establish the appropriate framework and operating protocols for the effective management of their Real Estate Portfolios. This ensures that global, national and/or regional clients can use data to make meaningful business decisions about their buildings and/or portfolio, despite managing differing systems, processes and standards across vertical markets.

Newly elected board members, include:
* Alex Darragh, Executive Managing Director, Global Facilities Management at CBRE, is a real estate industry veteran with over 35 years’ experience that spans both investment and corporate real estate. His current responsibilities include managing Global Facility Management Services (facility management, engineering, sourcing, energy and client accounting) in support of a 1 billion square foot portfolio; and overall Global Corporate Services business in the Latin American Region. Mr. Darragh holds degrees from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario where he earned a Master’s Degree in Urban-Economic Geography and from Northwestern University – Evanston, Illinois where he earned a Master’s Degree in Urban Policy Planning.
* David Karpook Marketing Director at Manhattan Software, a Trimble Company has been involved with OSCRE since its early days, participating in numerous workgroups including Service Request and the Space Classification Hierarchy. He is a 20 year industry veteran and has been a system implementer, strategist, trainer, vendor and customer in the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He is a graduate architect with degrees from Harvard University and the University of Florida.
* With 30 years of experience providing technology solutions for commercial and corporate real estate markets, Kim Maddox, Commercial Product Manager at Yardi, brings a wealth of project management and software development skills to OSCRE. Ms. Maddox has held leadership positions in organizations including JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, Oracle and MRI, where she was responsible for global product launches, market research, product strategy, competitive analysis, business systems analysis, product requirement documentation, and client relationship management. At OSCRE, she has served on the Lease Abstract, Lease Standards, Investment, Portfolio Management Reporting and Space Management workgroups. Ms. Maddox earned a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Nebraska.
* With nearly 20 years’ experience in strategic sourcing and corporate real estate, Lorri Rowlandson, Senior Vice President at Brookfield Johnson Controls, Canada's leading provider of real estate outsourcing services. Her responsibilities include Strategic Sourcing, Sustainability Solutions, Business Development, Marketing and Communications, Strategic Workplace Solutions, Consulting Services, and responsible for the strategic development of Financial sector accounts. Ms. Rowlandson holds a Masters in Corporate Real Estate (MCR), is an Accredited Outsourcing Practitioner (AOP), a Certified Deal Architect for Vested Outsourcing from the University of Tennessee (CDA), and a graduate of Harvard University’s GSD Real Estate program (AMDP). She is also on the Board of Directors for the Center for Outsourcing Research and Education, and Committee Chairperson for the Corenet Canada Leadership Council.
* Brad Sill, is a Director at RealFoundations within their Management Consulting practice focusing on real estate for multi–unit retailers and corporate occupiers and has more than 15 years real estate industry experience, primarily developing Walmart International’s global real estate systems strategy. In this role, Mr. Sill was responsible for systems transformation in all aspects of the retailer’s business development lifecycle, including strategic planning, market analysis/site assessment, financial analysis, design & construction, property/lease administration, facilities maintenance, mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, business intelligence and analytics. Mr. Sill implemented components of OSCRE Standards to manage Walmart International's 6,300 stores and properties in 27 countries. Mr. Sill holds a degree in Accounting from Missouri Southern State University and was recognized in 2014 with a Digie Industry Impact Award by Realcomm for going above and beyond in positively impacting the real estate industry through the use of technology, automation and innovation.
