The Corporate Occupiers & FM Domain concerns Corporate Real Estate and includes all the interactions involving the exchange of data between, for example, the Corporate or Government Owners and Tenants, Facility Managers, Service Providers and, Property Managers who have operational responsibility.

Why Focus on the Corporate Occupier and FM Domain?

Corporate Real Estate faces a number of challenges which can be addressed through improved information interoperability. Among these are effective corporate asset management, effective workplace management, risk management, tougher regulatory demands and an increasing need for regular reporting. Corporate Occupiers and Facility Management professionals work in a highly heterogenous environment involving many internal customers, internal and external service providers, and regulators. To effectively manage these challenges Corporate Real Estate professionals more than ever need to ensure the “real” data is readily available and accurate, whatever the source or destination.

The Domain provides an opportunity for Members and Non-Members to engage with peers in discussions to identify the interoperability issues domain stakeholders have in common and potential solutions. In addition, Domain activities will include launching new workgroups and initiatives, online discussion of emerging issues and solutions, and new or enhanced OSCRE Standards and publications.
