The OSCRE e-commerce Standard is an open format standard which can be implemented by anyone, without royalties or related charges.
Our Standard is approved by formally structured democratic Workgroups that operate on a consensus basis and are open to participation by all members of our independent not-for-profit organisation during the development of the Standard and to any interested parties during its test piloting. Membership of our organisation is open to anyone subject to an annual subscription.
You may download and re-use any of the versions of Standards and documentation. However, please note that by either downloading our documentation or Standards or registering to use the website, you agree to having read and accepted the following terms of use:
- The OSCRE Standard is a combination of content created by OSCRE International (comprising OSCRE Americas Inc and PISCES Ltd) its partners and its members. Where appropriate reference and acknowledgement is made to either third party contributors or sources that are regarded as industry process standards , these are defined within separate documentation.
- Neither OSCRE International, nor its partners or members are responsible in any way for the use that you may make of the Standards or documentation. Your use of the Standards and documentation is on an "as is" basis and at you own risk. To the extent permitted by law, OSCRE International and its partners exclude all warranties, conditions and representations of any kind relating to the supply of the Standards and documentation.
- OSCRE International cannot give you any warranty that the Standards and documentation will meet your requirements. The Standards are provided on the basis that OSCRE International is not liable to you for any losses or damages arising out of your use of the Standards including without limit third party claims, loss of profit, opportunity, savings or goodwill or any indirect, consequential or special losses.
- You acknowledge that all of the documentation is owned by OSCRE International and/or named third parties. All documentation is copyright and must be acknowledged as © Copyright OSCRE International and you must give the title of the source documents. Where OSCRE International have identified any third party copyright material you will need to obtain permission in writing from the copyright holders concerned regarding any use of this material.
- You agree to comply with all local laws and regulations regarding the download and use of the Standards and documentation.
- These terms of use shall be read in conjunction with the rest of the website.
- You agree to hold harmless and indemnify OSCRE International and its partners and members from and against any claim or action arising or in anyway related to your use of the Standards and documentation in breach of these terms, including any liability or expense arising from all such claims or actions.
- These terms of use are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms.
